Hough End Fields are public land in South Manchester, used by a variety of people, for sport, exercise, walking, bird watching etc.
In April 2021 Manchester City Council, which was given the site decades ago, submitted a planning application to radically expand the amount of sporting facilities on the land.
This website is a resource for those who want to know more about the plans, and how to object, if that is what they want to do.
The campaign is not affiliated to or run by any political party or any pre-existing campaigning group. Local residents and concerned citizens are donating their time to inform people about what is being proposed by the Council.
